The Wall Street Decathlon isn’t a one-day event. It is a community of professionals inspired to cure pediatric cancer.
With your help our goal is to raise $2M in 2015 and fully fund a clinical trial.Give Now
“As a result of each Decathlete’s commitment, I am inspired each year to work harder to change the paradigm of pediatric cancer research toward a cure for more children. This year we hope to use future donations to support much needed research and clinical trials for our pediatric personalized medicine initiative. What distinguishes a champion in The Decathlon is not simply a competitive spirit but the personal drive and compassionate commitment to cure pediatric cancer.”—Tanya Trippett M.D. Co-Founder POETIC | Director Pediatric Developmental Therapeutics MSKCC

WHAT IS Charitybetting?
The Wall Street Decathlon uses a unique and exciting way to manage the Decathlete fundraising process that we call CharityBetting. A CharityBet is a performance-based donation, where the final amount of the donation is impacted by whether or not Decathletes reach their goals.
Donors place a pledge on a Decathlete’s personal goal in one event. If the goal is achieved, the pledge amount goes up. If the goal is missed, the pledge amount goes down. In this way, the fundraising process and the athletic competition are connected to make for a much more entertaining experience for both athletes and donors alike.
CharityBetting incentivizes Decathletes to train harder and perform at their highest level on game day. And when they beat their goals, pediatric cancer research is the real winner.
Search for an athlete/team and place a CharityBet today.
